I can see why it is Andy's favorite model for the woods. It handles like an extension of my own arm.

You might have just pushed me over the edge towards purchasing one of these ....

Dang it Brian, I'm getting pretty close myself. Had a chance to handle a few of the Duke's when I was last at the shop and they felt great in hand, nice full handle, well balanced.....give me strength !

i do love my hiking buddy but the Duke is definitely my favorite production model thus far.

So far it's my favorite too. It's big enough to do a lot of things, without being too big to do a lot of other things :)

It is a tie between the Bushfinger and the Duke for me! Love them both. I would say heading in to the woods though the Duke would have to go with me! Great pics as always Brian!

The Bushfinger is lighter and quicker in the hand to be sure, but for me the Duke gives me a little more reach and chopping power without the weight of moving up to the camp knife, and without much of a sacrifice in control-ability thanks to the awesome balance. It just feels very natural in the hand. Here I deal with so many brier vines in my outings and much of the time I prefer a mid sized knife and a much smaller knife for more portability. Unless I know going into the trip I am going to be hacking my way through a lot of stuff, in that case I want a longer blade along.
