I bought this sometime ago and I've just now gotten around to taking pictures of it. It's a BKI Representative's sample case which, according to the logo stamped under the carrying handle, dates from 1998 through 2001. It's very heavy and sturdy leather and is in in great shape with all the loops intact.

This is the first one I've ever seen, so they must not be very common. Does anyone else have one like it or one similar?

Wow! very nice case there Plumber. If you fill that up full, I bet it would be pretty heavy with Bucks.

That's quite a find Plumber. Too bad it didn't have all of the salesman's samples.

The interior looks similar to the inside of the knife case for sale @ the factory. I failed to buy one. Stumps got one. As did lots of other attendees. Wasn't made of leather. All black, if I remember correctly, & spaces for many knives.

Hi Dave,

That is some case! take another photo when you have it filled and take the weights empty-vs-filled;)

Given the shape that I'm in right now, I'm afraid I'd have to hire some one to lift it...........:o

Dave, welcome back buddy. That is fantastic. How do you vets find such treasures? :)

Thanks for the wecome back, it's been a rough couple of months.

I don't have a secret honey hole, just a lot of free time and I keep a close eye on the online auctions, especially the newly listed "Buy it Now" ones. The sample case was something I'd never seen before and at $35 BIN + $9 shipping, I bought it within minutes of it being listed.

Nice score Dave!! I've never seen anything like that.

Glad your feeling better, hang in there, and take care of yourself!

That's a handsome collectors item. It looks like it was made for folders. Thanks for posting the photos. Work on eating a large supper. DM

Doin' the best I can Jim. In fact, I just may try taking one of the Harley's out for a spin tomorrow. No big long tour, just a short putt over to the beach and back.

It's pretty cool isn't it. I had a great dinner tonight David. The roast I cooked yesterday was even better tonight, and I'm just about to have a big bowl of vanilla ice cream with carmel syrup all over it, Yummm! :D

Good to see you back, Dave. The case is very neat and I think that is a good price for it. The pictures are great as we all have grown to expect from you. Glad you are feeling better.
