I finished anatomy and physiology with a 96.5% average.....

I am pretty proud of this. In five weeks we learned all the bones(markings also) muscles (originins and insertions and what they do) and 9 other systems in the human body

I have been averaging two hours a night reading and studying, and I think it paid off. honor role here I come...

That's great, A & P is not for slackers.. I've always found that the courses that challenged me the most are the ones I got the most out of.. Sounds like you worked for it.

Congrats! If I may ask, what are you using it for?

I took it in high school and college (both 1 and 2, covering pretty much the whole body), and definitely was not a pushover. Our lab exams, of which we had two (appendicular and axial), were the hardest exams I have yet to take. They consisted of a bone or muscle with a small sticker on it and asked the name of the marking in a bones case, or the origin, insertion, nerve that innervates, and action in a muscles case. Absolutely ridiculous. What made it even harder was that they weren't easy to study for because they weren't diagrams, but on an actual model of all the muscles or an actual bone

Good stuff man, congrats! Anatomy is one of those 'grit your teeth and do the work' courses, lots of blatant memorization. Gross. (Hehe, get it? Gross? Like gross anatomy? I'm gonna high five myself.)

I am going for a physiotherapy/occupationaltherapist assitant diploma.

I am going to a career college , the course in condenced into a 48 week program that at other colleges is a two year course, but still has the same testing and course outline. we take a class until it is complete 5 hours a day , it is pretty intense but it keeps me on my toes.

thanks

High five (in Borat voice)!

Cool story involving anatomy...I took that my senior year in high school along with AP Bio. This one girl, actually a good friend, who was super hot, happened to be in pretty much all my classes, including AP Calc. She needed help in both A and P and Calc, and I happened to have the highest grade in the class in both so she asked me to tutor her. You know where this story is going...:D

(Not trying to hijack the thread...if you want me to edit it out just let me know)

Damn- I wish I could get those marks. Memorizing orig. Insert. and Actions is a really big detriment to my studying- just regurgitating them during an oral exam gets me every time. Give me the hands on work and I'm a pro, but memorization- not so much (must be all of the knife knowledge taking up space). It could be worse- in my Osteology class in university I had over 2500 terms/landmarks to know just about the skeleton, plus side and type of bone from a fragment- I got well below 95% in that class.

Good going- now come over here and tutor me (massage so it is close!)!
