Got home from Hawaii and pull my Northwoods peanut out of the suitcase and felt something fall into my hand. I look at it and there was part of the mainspring! Not sure how it happened as I did not open it when I took it out, but regardless, it is gone!. Steven

Likely it sacrificed itself to protect you from one of those deranged Texas Jack Cult members! A sad day indeed!

Steve--

I can't tell from the pic if it is a Northwoods. If it is, it was made by Queen, and they have graciously agreed to continue honoring the warranty on all of the older Northwoods stuff. Just send it to them and they will take care of you. If you have any issues, contact me and I will make it right for you.

Yeah it is a Northwoods and I was pretty sure it was a Queen. I will get it to them. As far as making it right, No need Derrick, it has served me well, you have given me hope that I will get some more out it. Steven

This is why I buy from KSF, they will make sure you are taken care of!

Nuts! (pun intended :p ) Hopefully Queen will take care of it for you. I wonder what caused the spring to snap?!

Sorry to hear your sad news, Steven. :(
I hope you can figure out a satisfactory way to repair or replace it.
