Very sad to inform you all that Flava has passed away.

It is with great sadness that I must inform you all that Flava (Flavius) from Paris, France, has passed away a few days ago.

At this point I do not yet know the exact details. He was not old at all, only late 30's approx.

I am sure most of you that have been here a few years remember this man. And I am sure you will agree he was one of the very GOOD guys.

I remember him. On the basis of 2 conversations, he offered to show me his collection and around the knife makers and sellers in his region of France if I was ever there again. Definitely one of the good guys. And very tragic.

I'm very sad to read this. After interacting with him for a while I had met him at the Paris knife show (SICAC) in 08. He was a lovely guy. I remember his pride in showing a great Lum Chinese folder to me. He was a young guy.
