I'm a custom knife guy but I like these knives. Here are the two I have which all are for carry.

I have a thing for Ladder blades. Heres my custom carry, though its nice to switch it out for a CRK. Variety is the spice of life.

I do like that carbon fiber with ladder, they match rather well. The ladder on your DHIII is just superb though. :):thumbup:
 
I agree that the carbon fiber with ladder match excellently. Me thinks the DHIII is out of my league....
 
Was never a big fan of ladder damascus and have sold several that I deeply regret, but this combo looks awesome. Congrats.
 
Jon, excellent choices in knives. I hope to have the large micarta insingo pretty soon too. Then our "families" will match. I noticed that your carbon fiber scale looks much better than mine did when I got it. Mine looks like yours now but brand new, it had a rough and very "spotty" finish from the lapping of CF. I had to wear mine in to where the finish became smooth like yours. Interesting to see how the finishes differ slightly from knife to knife with the CF models. Enjoy!

Zeta, not sure what you mean.. Mine is pretty new. But it got wet a few times and my hands just darkened the micarta. It only took a day or two to start looking "used". When I look at it, it looks spotty because its not an even tone.

Unfortunately I don't have a pic from the day I got it. The pics I had been using turned out to be stock photos and the knives I got were both different ones. I don't like that... even though it made no difference whatsoever. All look the same.

I mean your carbon fiber Sebenza, not the micarta large. The carbon fiber scale on yours is more refined than mine. After carrying mine often my finish has become smooth like yours, it was originally rougher than yours. You should be able to see the difference here.
