Very tight pocket clips

Sorry, a bit of a rant. So is it just me? Apparently, they need to be adjusted to suit the user. I have several Benchmade knives and all except one of them have extremely tight clips. I have to push so hard my pants almost go to my knees. Surprisingly I haven't torn my pocket out yet. My used AFO 11 works well and clips on great. Probably adjusted by the previous owner.

I have a vivid imagination and dry sense of humor and am LOL. They can be bent. I prefer to take them off and make the adjustments (the clip, not my pants).

In my experience, about 9 out 10 pocket clips need to be bent to fit my pockets. This is one reason I use sheaths for most knives.
I used to use a small pry bar and locking pliers to bend the lip up a millimeter or so, but then, on a Spyderco knife, the pry bar bent instead of the clip.
