G'day all, haven't posted here for a while and I thought you might like to see a recent commission that I have just finished.
Mosaic damascus, bl 5 1/2" oal 11 7/8", textured stainless guard with G10 and stainless spacers, Ebony handle. Leather sheath with domed pins (boy o boy are they tricky little jiggers) ray skin keeper. I know my photography skills haven't improved much:), thanks for looking and comments welcome.
Cheers Keith

Knife looks awesome. The Damascus looks great, and your choice of ebony works perfectly with it.

Those evil little pins really make the sheath, though...

Nice one, bud! You should have been up here this last week - my fall has been hotter than my whole summer!

Amazing patterning of that steel!!!! Fantastic work my friend, a very lucky 'Commissioner' indeed.

The Blackwood haft and sheath are Works of Art in themselves my friend.

I've been looking at a lot of different Damascus patterns this week and I have to say, this is as beautiful and mesmerizing as anything else I have seen. Just jaw dropping. Now I have to go find every knife you've made to see more.

Tell the owner that there are some real jealous people out there.

Thanks Matt, sorry to hear about the heat there mate

Keith,
Your knife is really great! The sheath is what really intrigues me. The little domed pins set it off. Would you mind explaining how you did them?
Thanks

Thanks Steve, the domed pins have 4 prongs on the under side. I use a nail punch on the leather so the pin has a place to sit, using needle nose pliers I place the pin and set it, again with the nail punch. The tricky part is setting it up so they are straight, once it’s set you can’t get them out as the prongs spread out in the leather. Hope this helps. Cheers

Real nice! Of course the sheath is sweet.

I really like the damascus, the blade shape and the guard.

You knocked this one out of the park!

Best Regards,
