A few months ago I designed a new knife, I named this project VESUVIUS
Vesuvius is a knife for survival purpose, the thickness is 5,0mm, the blade is 4 long.
Sent an e-mail to my good friend and great british knifemaker Stuart Mitchell in Sheffield. He said the project looked just great.
We decided for stainless steel SF100, scales in G10 camo and 4mm black liners.
Two swaged 10mm tubes a single 8mm are fitted as fixings/lanyard holes.
As I said steel is 5mm stock and parallel through the tang, the grind is full flat and currently sports a secondary bevel.
Now VESUVIUS is ready, and would like to show you some pics (made by the maker itself)
Thanks for the great job Stu, it is much appreciated.
