I just saw Mr.Mattis pics of the Vesuvius and I'm drooling all over myself.Are those real mop scales or celluloid?Looks like it has the new lock also.
This one needs to be produced asap.Please,please pretty please I really need one of these.

The Vesuvius is WAY COOL!!. Played with them for a while, and I see a big hit coming. The handle slabs are neither MOP nor celluloid....They are G-10!!!

There are also many other new knives coming and some modifications to existing ones as well.

I'm with you Blades, just can't wait for the Chinese Folder. However the Vesuvius has moved to the next spot on my wish list. It is the knife I've been hoping Spyderco would produce, gorgeous drop point blade, new lock and fancy scales. It just doesn't get any better than that

I've moved my images to my main commercial page where I shouldn't get warnings from my ISP about excess traffic.

The shells are real. They are laminated to the G-10. The steel is ATS-34.
