Vesuvius

Good morning fellow Spydies ,

I got a Vesuvius with ATs -34 steel.
The handles are what my questions is about.
Are they made from carbon fiber ?
They are real "smooth" They also have a neat blue/green insert.
I thought they were plastic, but a friend said they were a finely buffed carbon fiber.
Any of you guys know ?

Hey,

I have a Vesuvius without the insert, actually my wife has it now :grumpy: . As far as I know the handles are FRN, a durable nylon material. But then again, I have been known to be wrong.

Vesuvius handles are FRN. If it was carbon fiber, that knife would have been the all time good deal price-wise.
