In a few hours it will be Veterans Day. I choose to celebrate it quietly, away from any speeches or fanfare. I give a word of thanks to my maker that I came back and I'm still here. Then I say a prayer for my buddies who didn't make it. I remember them. It's important to me that I do.

There's a page at the link below that says more about veterans than any other single thing I've ever read. Have a look. It will only take a moment. Read it and, if only for this one day, remember.

Blackdog: I'm glad that at least here on the forum, Veteran's day is more than a day away from work.

Semper Fi to everybody!

Craig.

Blackdog, thanks for sharing that. And as Veteran's Day comes to a close, I'd like to say to all my fellow vets: Thank you for making it possible for me and my loved ones to go to bed tonight, safe and secure, knowing that we will awaken to yet another day of hope and promise in the land of the free.

God bless you all, and God bless America!
