I'm sure this has been beaten to death, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere, so here it goes...
I just upgraded to a KBAC 27-D and Leeson 2HP 3600 rpm combo, from a 1HP 1800 Harbor Freight motor. I just got the new VFD and motor hooked up to 220v, adjusted all my jumpers and trimpots to what I think they should be. I went to do my first bit of grinding on the new setup, and this thing feels like it's a 1/2HP motor. I have a 7" drive wheel that I used on my Harbor Freight motor, and it took a lot to pressure to stop that thing. I put that 7" on the new setup, I barely apply pressure, and I can easily stop the belt. I put my 4" drive wheel on the new setup, and it does a little better, but I can still pretty easily stop the belt.
I verified that I have 110V to each lead, and I'm hooked up to the motor for high voltage.
Does anyone know what the issue may be?
