VHT epoxy and powdered silver (you read that right)

First post in years here, didn't even remember being registered!
I'm working on an "Abe Lincloln Vampire Hunter " inspired axe. Not a copy of the movie prop, but more of a "what if" piece. My plan is to paint the axe head with vht epoxy (already done that, looks good!) And now I was thinking about spraying a thin line with the vht and putting silver powder on the stripe while the paint is still wet. I'm wondering if it would even show up, though. Would the silver just soak in the paint and not be visible? Maybe I should use clear vht instead? Maybe I should just run a thin stripe of regular clear epoxy and drop the powder onto it? I don't have a heckuva lot of powdered silver to just experiment with! :-D

I would just silver plate the head, get it good and sharp, possibly have some engraving don to it, and have it plated. then hang it, and make a coffin case with a slot for holy water and a UV flashlight. :)

I don't want the whole head silver, just want to add a little. The head has an unusual curved edge, so I want a siver line mimicking the curve against the black background of the head.
And I'm saving the coffin case idea for a small double headed damascus vampire axe I'm doing later. Even going to have that one blessed. :-)
