Vic 111mm Carpenter

I just picked up a Vic 111mm carpenter. According to sakwiki it is a discontinued model that was only made for a short time but gives no dates. Does anyone know when it was introduced and discontinued?

I received my Vic Carpenter today. When I purchased it I didn't know it was a discontinued model - just a neat SAK and inexpensive. Well, now I know why it was dc-ed. It is a strange, awkward design. It has two phillips screw drivers in the Sakwiki pic, but when I received it I only could see one. After playing with it a while, I "found" the second phillips. It is buried under the pliers! To open the in-line phillips you have to open the pliers and there is a small knob which will unfold the phillips, then you have to close the pliers. Very strange design. No wonder it was discontinued. Still trying to find the dates for it.
