VIC Champ Scale Mod Question

Hi all,

I bought a ruby red Champ yesterday with the lumbar bag

on sale

and noticed that on the scale (with the toothpick and pen) has another slot on the other end that can be modified to fit something.

have any of you guys tried to put something in it or did a mod?

Its for the ballpointpen

That slot is actually there for a smaller pair of tweezers. Some of the VIC SAKs have front-side scales with electronics in them, hence no space for the normal tweezers. So they are put on the back in that empty slot you see.

Thank you very much guys, well, I don't see the need for an extra pair of tweezers. I'd rather use the pliers instead.
