Vic Minichamp, how many layers? Compared to Rambler, etc. How bulky?

Just wondering how fat that little sucker is. I have a Rambler now. Curious if I should add a minichamp to my collection. Any pics comparing the two?

I believe the minichamp is 3 layers and 15 mm thick and the rambler is 2 layers and 10.5 mm thick :).

Depends on how you carry it. An EDC 58mm SAK goes into my jeans watch pocket, and for that fit, I find the Minichamp a little too thick. OTOH, a Rambler doesn't even register, has all the basics, so that's my choice. Carried on a keychain or in a pocket, however, I might opt for the Mini. Don't know if all those extra implements would come in handy, but they sure are entertaining. :)

Rambler is the best small swiss army knife IMHO.

the mini-champ is nice but too thick and has some unnecessary tools.

I'd love an ALOX Rambler...but I doubt i will ever see one...
