Do you guys use lanyards on your OHT's? I keep one on my farmer because of its size, but the OHT has a rather large handle so it seems almost unnecessary.

So what do you guys do?

I have a neon orange lanyard on mine. I initially added it just to off set the low visibility of the black scales in outdoor conditions, but I find that it also helps when I am fishing around in my daypack for it. Makes it a bit easier to find by touch in the pack.

I've been throwing the beast in my pocket......well at least today I did. I think it might end up a making it a manpurse knife.

I put a lanyard on mine for visibility mostly, but it usually sits in my EDC-backpack PSK now (Vic Spirit replaced it on my belt when outside).

I used to put lanyards on all my saks, but when I had to actually use the tools on whatever side the lanyard ring is on, the lanyards would get in the way. So I normally don't put fobs on any of my SAKs now.

I have a lanyard on my SAK Tinker, and my leatherman juice.
But that's not really for retention or anything. Just a simple loop and a bulky triple overhand knot. Makes digging them out of a crowded pocket easier.

If I were carrying them in a pack which had slots or sheaths, then I wouldnt bother.
