I bought several SAks to give away as gifts for Xmas. A recruit and an equestrian, cos I know that you want to know. The Equestrian was missing the tweezers. I'm going to call the shop to see what they'll do, and I have others that I can cannibalize, but I don't want to spend $1.50 on tweezers, and $7.50 on shipping. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Joe

If the retailer doesn't stock parts, they should at least be able to get them for you.

I had my local knife store get me toothpicks - he had no trouble, but I had to buy a packetful (a dozen, I think) because his supplier didn't sell singles. Of course, seeing as how they're consumables anyway, it wasn't a bad thing. I didn't pay shipping, of course.

A lot of the stores that sell SAK's also stock the toothpicks and tweezers. Try calling all the biggest knife stores in town.

Every knife store in malls seems to carry them.

knifecenter.com sells them, ya send them the money order w/a self
addressed stamped envelope (get the bubble one, i ordered afew things and sent a regular envelope and it came open in transit and i lost 1/2 of the stuff) and they ship to ya......

I've found it can be about as cheap and easy to just buy an old junk one at a second hand store or even a new one sold at Lowes and snag the one out of it rather than mess with trying to track one down. By the time you pay shipping you'll spend just as much anyway.

exactly my findings over here in the Netherlands as well. just about every outdoor/dump-shop who sells Vic's, also sells the tweezer and toothpicks separately. if seamingly not, ask for it. they can get ém.
