this is an old wound and i would have sworn (along with the surgeon) that she would loose her thumb. but much to my surprise it's still there and you can't even tell. she was a real trooper too, she didn't even get upset when i had her make dinner for me  :D

How did that happen Stinker???

I am glad she is OK though, but please explain!!!

OHHH, that hurts to look at...

I think I saw that one before....nasty cut!

Now I'm hungry for some chopped steak.

How is the thumb now?

edit- Vickie has pretty hands BTW....and I just noticed you said it was fine now.

Every time my wife pulls out a sharp knife to peel something,,,,, cucumber apple tater,,,, etc. I cringe. Every time,,, without fail , no matter how many times I explain proper procedure.... she pulls the edge back towards her thumb... ALWAYS. Never cut it as deep as Vicki's ( so very glad we don't hafta call her lefty , thk gawd !!!! ), but she's gotten a few stitches . I won't let her play with my INFI, recommend the same to you Idahoskunk ,,,,,,cuz "As soon as you forget to respect a sharp edge, your bleeding " ,,,, btw. my wife has'nt seen 99% of my INFI, or my other blades,,, never mind played with it..... Iffin she saw it all , I'd probably be in divorce court :o

Wow.

I don't have a problem peeling back towards my thumb, you've just got to be careful, and not force it.

looks painful. Actually looks like something my mom would do, seems like she is always getting really bad cuts and stitches on the holidays.

Hopefully her hand heals up nice.

Hope Vicki is getting better now.
Please pardon this little weiner if my comment offends you. I bet a true alfa hog like you can make dinner for her and yourself without any problem.
