From what I understand it is purely a market naming ploy. The knife is the same but with different names in Canada versus the US.

The Driver is one of their economy models with the nylon scales and stamped shield. The Recruit is an "officers' model" with smooth plastic scales and inlaid shield. Otherwise they are identical AFAIK.

PocketEdge, if you can find a Cadet 2, it's what you are looking for. Or just get a Cadet if you can live with the nail file instead of the small blade.
