Victorinox 108mm

I am looking for some info on a Victorinox Safari/Trooper I recently purchased, it is olive green, two layers.
My question is there some Initials molded into the handel (RGE), does anyone know what it stands for.

It is molded into the scale( Embossed)

civilian model.

It sounds like you already know what it is. If it doesn't have the eagle on the scale then it's a civilian version. There would be a small flat rectangular section instead of the german federal eagle. This is where you could put a name.

The letters is not ingraved into the scale, but it is molded on the scale and raised like the eagle is.
