Does anyone have the Victorinox 125th anniversary knife? Does it have half stops? How is the build quality? Do you carry yours, or kept it in the display box? Any difference in steel from the regular SAK? Pictures welcomed.

Thanks

The original knives and the reproductions do not have half stops. The steel is stainless unlike the original knives. Off the top of my head, I don't recall which steel. Maybe the same. I've seen them but didn't fork over the big bucks for one. The springs are much softer than the original knives. The classic pinned construction and ebony covers are very traditional... though some of the oldies weren't actually ebony-- some were domestic woods treated to look like ebony. The reproductions are attractive knives but you can get an oldie for less money.
