Hello SAK specialists

So, i found this SAK on a swiss auction site...Seller says it's LNIB/unused and rare. Description says Victorinox 14736, but i can't find anything about it. Never seen one with orange scales without the swiss cross.

Any info on this mystery SAK?

Pics are very bad too.

This is a lot of trouble for a fake. The tools are identical to Vic, like if somebody was trying to do an exact copy, style and all, of PM2s and Bugouts, and I do not know if that would be done for SAK fakes, I have seen a lot of fake SAKs . The effort for profit do not appear to match. But those scales are not factory from what I know, yes, but what if they were contracted for some org. requiring yellow nylon, or? Nobody who is trying to copy a Vic cap lifter to perfection would make this error, so it could be aftermarket. I got some disco'd SAKs with G10 scales at a low price.

Is it being sold as a normal SAK or as a big rare expensive item? If low priced, I'd jump on it, just to see such a dutiful fake.

yeah, i dpn't think it's a fake. Like you said, probably some company or organisation ordered some with blank scales. 🤷‍♂️

GAGL GAGL only wants it because of the orange scales lol

Obviously 🤣 who wouldn't want some orange scales on their sak.

Yeah, I would totally get it. I have a green/black trim (Rambler) and blue/white trim (Executive) but both have a secondary underlayer color exposed in the Swiss cross cutout and the sides - the Exec in G10 has become a favorite, unique and durable and no worries of damage to the look, plus awesome toolset.

It’s real.

A limited run of these and sold in Europe (maybe Spain) as a limited edition with the Master Craftsman toolset.

I have one and the Orange scales match the color and lack of shield for Spartans made for Walter which were pad printed in silver for the logo and shield. I suspect this is where and why these scales were used. I hope you got it…they typically sell for more than $100 USD.

Thank you so much for your help!

This is why i love BF...

I don't have it yet, bid is still open.
