This is a lot of trouble for a fake. The tools are identical to Vic, like if somebody was trying to do an exact copy, style and all, of PM2s and Bugouts, and I do not know if that would be done for SAK fakes, I have seen a lot of fake SAKs . The effort for profit do not appear to match. But those scales are not factory from what I know, yes, but what if they were contracted for some org. requiring yellow nylon, or? Nobody who is trying to copy a Vic cap lifter to perfection would make this error, so it could be aftermarket. I got some disco'd SAKs with G10 scales at a low price.
Is it being sold as a normal SAK or as a big rare expensive item? If low priced, I'd jump on it, just to see such a dutiful fake.
GAGL only wants it because of the orange scales lol
It’s real.
A limited run of these and sold in Europe (maybe Spain) as a limited edition with the Master Craftsman toolset.
I have one and the Orange scales match the color and lack of shield for Spartans made for Walter which were pad printed in silver for the logo and shield. I suspect this is where and why these scales were used. I hope you got it…they typically sell for more than $100 USD.
