My Alox Bantam arrived today. I have a red Bantam, and I used to have a black one, which I lost. This Alox model is incredible. It is unbelievably skinny (about 5 mm) and light weight, so it is an ideal "gentleman's" knife, besides being very utilitarian. It's easily the thinnest pocket knife in my collection (out of around sixty knives). The master blade is large enough to do some serious cutting, and the combo tool does all the jobs I encounter on a daily basis. It lacks the toothpick and tweezers of the synthetic scales models and the key ring of the red, but I almost never use those features anyhow. As usual with Vics, it took about sixty seconds to obtain an extremely sharp edge (with the Sharpmaker). Like all the Alox knives, it seems very robust in spite of its lightness.

Be careful with the Bantam. It's so thin and light I've lost two of them. :o
