Looking to replace the pins in my Alox Vics (Pioneer and Cadet) with screws, for ease of maintenance. Are there any tutorials or info on doing this? Any tips/links would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've never installed screws, but I have removed the pins, installed a pocket clip, and reassembled with new pin stock. If I remember correctly, the two sizes of pin stock needed were 2mm and 3mm. Hope this helps, at least as far as screw diameter, and I'd like to see what you come up with. Good luck!

Swiss Army knives need no maintenance, other than a drop of oil every so often.

You can do it with some work and micro-fasteners, but..... from what I've seen most times thats used for prototyping, or when the new scale material wouldn't work well with pins. Its a good idea, but not for the reasons you want. keep in mind that SAK pins are always under some tension, so disassembly will be a pain.

Where could I get some/find info on sizes needed?
