Does anyone know if the victorinox backspring Phillips 3-d screwdriver satisfies the DIN/ISO 6250 or 8764 standards? I'm curious if I can effectively use this on JIS screws.

I don't know what a "backspring" phillips is, the backlayer phillips head is not the same as the front side attached phillips which satisfies the 8764 crosshead standard and can do JIS screws. It is a JIS driver, to be more accurate in label.

The back layer one is a standard phillips. *edit: apparently, the back layer Phillips has gone through 5 different variations and the latest version does satisfy 8764 and I guess is a phillips that can do JIS heads.

Yes, I did mean backside/backlayer Phillips. I looked at the link you provided. Not that I don't believe you, but I didn't see a reference to the din 8764 standard?

I'm waiting for an answer. But this is the first response:

I got the final response copied below. Now, i specifically asked about the rambler, OHT, and the bits from the cybertool. It does seem that the response lists specific PH sizes that are not accurate, as I can't imagine an OHT backside Phillips fitting into a PH0 screw, but nevertheless, if they are DIN 8764 compliant, I'm sure I can figure out which size screw they fit snugly in.
