I've had my victorinox cadet in alox for a few months now, and im beginning to experience a lot of blade play on the blade tool, and its really beginning to bother me. Anybody know what to do to fix it? Thanks!

Interesting....

I've never had blade-play in a Vic SAK.

Have you been prying with the blade laterally?

Never had a problem myself and I own quite a few. If it is important to you, send it back to Victorinox; or buy a replacement and forget about it. Me, I'd probably just buy another one.

My Cadet, Farmer, Ranger & Trekker have no blade play at all. My Cybertool 34 that I have been EDCing for ten & a half years - also has zero blade play on either blade.

I think you should send it in for repair.

I've got half a dozen Cadets with no blade play. I think yours must be faulty, send it back.

If you don't want to send it in to the manufacturer, you can peen the pivot pin LIGHTLY on both sides using a small hammer and an anvil/vise until the desired tightness is achieved.
If you overdo it though, you could lock it up where it won't close.

Their customer service is top notch. Either send it back or at least report it through their website.

I had a SAK OH Sentinel that suspected of bad heat treat & they walked it through with me :)

What i'm worried about is the shipping costs. Or will they pay for the shipping?
