So far i've never needed to sharpen the knife.
The set lives in my daypack, and really comes in handy whenever food is eaten straight from a (super-) market.
They’re easily sharpened or touched up on the corners of the Sharpmaker stones or a fine slip stone. Getting them sharper than factory is easy *if* the edge is well cared for.
Fixing used/TSA finds…is often a pain. But not really difficult with diamond or CBN. Round or tapers are faster for grinding away bent teeth, chips or folds.
