So, for christmas, I bought an Equestrian for my GF. Here's the review:

This is one BIG mofo. It's almost as long as my pre-98 endura, and way thicker. The Handles are the matte finish, with the vic logo painted on, and a cute horse in a horseshoe logo to boot. It comes with:Aw;, corkscrew, saw, bail, toothpick, tweezers, can opener/screwdriver/bottleopener, hoof pick, and locking main blade.

Some observations:
The main blade is huge-3.5" huge to be exact. Tht lock is like the rolling lock, plus the backspring. It has a little wobble, but I don't foresee this as a problem.
also, the main blade has its own set of liners-one on each side, and the rest of the tools share the middle liner and the remaining liner.
The saw comes out in the way that the hook does on other models. it has a little nub that goes past the liner, and is also large. I can't figure out what method is used to make them-there seems to be some steel left over hanging off the teeth. Regardless, it is an aggressive cutter, and nobody can ever find that blade anyway.
The Combo can opener/screwdriver is awful. It is avout useless as a screwdriver, and I imagine it's just as bad as a can opener.
The hoofpick is marvelous. With the size of the handle, it's actually useable. The only problem being that when you pick a horse's hooves, it is not a substance that I want getting all over the inside of a pocketknife.
The awl is one of my favorite tools in the vics, and this one is better than on my tinker, as the bail does not get in the way of closing the awl.
I have no idea why there is a corkscrew.
It is a little heave, and not so much for pocket carry, but would go into a sheath nicely.
All in all, for 35 bucks, it's a great tool for a pretty specific purpose, I would change out some of the tools for others, but you can't win em all.

I bet the hoof pick would be good for picking mud and stones out of one's cleats for clipless pedals when mountainbiking. ;)
