What do you guys think of it? I need a new knife and loved my super tinker (retired) and i would like to add a saw to it. Think it's worth the extra layer?

I have both, and can't really say I can tell the difference when carrying one or the other.

I have the Huntsman and I like it alot. I would rather have a Fieldmaster though because of the phillips head screwdriver on the back. I usually carry a Swiss champ plus on a daily basis. The Swiss champ plus covers all of the basis for me except the lack of pliers.

I've carried a Fieldmaster for the last 25 or so years. Half of those were the last years of my Army career before I retired. I used to carry a Tinker but liked the extra tools. I've only used the tweezers once but I use the toothpick, small blade, scissors, and phillips every day. It is the perfect (for me) pocket knife. I've given one to each of my 6 grandchildren for scouts or other outdoor work. I've had about five other SAKs but the Fieldmaster tripped my trigger enough that I bought a spare just in case they go out of production.

I carry my fieldmaster everyday. It has everything i need on it for everyday, or woods carry. No stupid corkscrew, a pair of scissors, a saw, and the blades and thats all I need (and the philips head has come in very handy too. as well as the flat head on the bottle opener.) Love it!

I also didnt want the corkscrew. I saw a bunch of saks that i would have liked but i didnt want the corkscrew soo
