what is considered to be the real flagship victorinox?? are there more than one?? from what i can tell from their marketing its either the Spartan, Huntsman, Explorer or SwissChamp. What about Classic or Soldier???

just curious

IMHO there is no ONE flagship VIctorinox (I have 50 of them). I guess to your list I'd add the Pioneer, Farmer, Tinker (my home EDC), the Deluxe Tinker (my going out EDC), Mechanic, Craftsman, Cadet, Climber and the Compact. Pick which ever ones you like (they are cheap enough) and has the tools you use or think you would. Can't go wrong with a Vic SAK. I have a Classic SD but I find it too small to be useful for anything much more than cleaning your fingernails and maybe opening mail.

If I had to pick one I would say the Swisschamp XAVT.

Too much of a good thing! Swisschamp is just at the upper limits of what can be reasonably carried. The XAVT is for collectors (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Doesn't flagship usually showcase the most innovative, most features, etc? So probably whatever their newest large 91mm is I would guess. They sell the most Classics and they have a big Huntsman on their building.
