Victorinox Heritage [PRICE]

Why does the Victorinox Heritage knife cost so much? I can't really understand how it merits such an large price tag
Will somebody please fill me in?

As far as I know, it's strictly a collector's thing. It's a limited edition reproduction of the original SAK which has a great deal of history. Plus, Victorinox has brand recognition even outside of the hardcore knife user/collector community. The handles are ebony which I suppose can be considered a premium material, but that still doesn't account for the price tag.
