Today I went out for hiking in a local national park and took my Victorinox Huntsman Camo with me. Here are some pictures of it. When not using it, I kept it attached to a yellow cord that was looped around my belt.

How do you attach it to the yellow cord?

Attaching it to the belt sounds like a good idea. It seems like a camo knife might a bit easier to lose, as demonstrated by your pictures :D.

You are right that a camo knife can be a bit hard to find if it is laying on the ground. That is also the reason I would not take it out for a longer hike and camping. I primarily took it with me for the pictures. :-)

Here is how I like to attach a knife to a cord. The cord itself is looped around the belt and at the end there is a hook. I attach the knife to the hook and then put the knife in my pocket.

Since the loop is very easy, it is also very easy to remove both cord and knife from the belt simultaneously. The you get it like this.

Ah, very good.

The bright yellow cord does a great job of increasing the visibility.

That Huntsman looks pretty handy. I have a similar model, but without the hook and scissors layer, and the pen blade swapped for a nail file.
