So some of the 111mm victorinox models such as the Trekker, which I am a huge fan of, have a locking bottle opener. What I'd like to see is a locking can opener. If you're using the bottle opener/flathead screwdriver and it closes up on you, no big deal.
However, more than once I've been using the can opener's small screwdriver and really gotten down on some screws, only to have it close on me. Once, it nearly took off my thumbnail. Furthermore, when opening cans if one uses too deep a stroke instead of short strokes the can opener can also get caught and close.
So basically what I'm saying is, I'd much rather see a locking can opener than a locking bottle opener. I know the wenger evogrip has a unique mechanism on their flathead/bottle openers where it locks, but only when pressure is applied. I would LOVE to see something like this on the victorinox can openers in their 91mm models.
