Has anyone seen any of the victorinox made versions of the Bundeswehr (German army) knife for sale in unused condtion??? Ive tried many internet stores (load-up.com, surplus stores, ect.) no one has any. A couple places that did list them were either used, or they replaced them (without changing the ad) with the cheap Italian versions. The onle Im looking for is not the mauser version, with the mauser logo, but the one with the German eagle imprinted in the handle. The knife is about 4 inches closed with one large spear blade, and one large saw blade with a bottle opener at the end. The Saw comes with a steel slip cover, and the scales are olive green with chechering. The knife comes in an olive green vinyl slip case.
If anyone sees anything resembling it please let me know. There are copies made by victorinox, an Italian company, and a German company called mil-tech (which from what I understand are really not made in Germany). Herbertz also makes a version. There are also imitations made in china, taiwan, ect. The ones I really need to find are the victorinox. They were made from 1976-?

Thanks, John

Check ebay; they turn up every now and again. Or you might try emailing this ebay seller - flummi99, he often has non-US SAKs.

Edited: I searched ebay and found 4 but none were Vics.

Thanks I appreciate it!!! I have checked ebay, I find the cheap Italian made ones, but not the vic. ones. I'll probably keep checking there though!!! Claus in germany is also going to keep his eye out for me, we'll see what happens!!!
