Wanted to find out if the Pioneer was/is made in blue alox. I know they've been made in red, silver, and black alox. Haven't stumbled upon any blue ones though. But,since the Farmer has a blue version, figured a blue Pioneer might exist. I'm sure there are custom versions out there, how about Victorinox made versions?

Thanks for the replies. I will keep an eye on ebay for one. Otherwise it looks like it's a custom made item. Anyone here ever deal with Swiss Bianco? I read that he is now in the USA. He seems to occasionally get Victorinox to make some unique models, especially Alox versions.

Right now Swiss Bianco is back in Switzerland for a short stay after IWA show in Germany. His special alox runs typically have Victorinox-assembled configurations using the "raw" alox scales that Roger splash-anodizes. He did not produce any blue Pioneers, bud did Farmers, Cadets, and Classics in a variety of colours.

Swiss Bianco (Roger) doesn't make to order but creates limited runs of SAKs, either cosmetically different (like the splash alox Farmers) or re-issues of retired models like the Scientist or the Yeoman.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like you have to be a bit lucky to score something unique from Roger.
