hi folks.
I’m looking for a alox victorinox the size of a classic but with a cap lifter.
The rambler or manager would be perfect but I don’t think they’re available in alox.
I looked on the Swiss Bianco Site, but no dice.
I’d appreciate any info to help point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Rusty

Maybe get an alox Classic and notch the nail file blade? Doesn't take much to lift a bottlecap... (*)

Good luck, OP!

*Edit: you can do it with the nail file blade even without modifying it

The Leatherman Ps4 Squirt has a cap lifter included with it's tool set. It's small but works. I keep a Squirt on two key rings so I pretty much always have one with me.

The Vic Bantam has a blade and cap lifter but it is not alox. But still light or small enough for a keychain.

Actually there is a bantams in alox, I have one, but it don’t have a keychain ring :(
I think the alox minichamp is the only production option, yes it a bit bulky but really useful. Love the worny blade and orange cleaner

That’s a pretty good idea.
I might try that when the new 2020 alox limited are released.
I know you can pop a cap with just about anything.
I’m in the market for a little key ring knife tho.
Figured I’d get two birds stoned at once.

I have a alox bantam. It’s amazing.
6mm think.
It’s just a bit big lengthwise for my keys.

Thanks tho.

58mm Alox models with the cap lifter (combo tool) are pretty slim pickings.
The only two currently in production are the MiniChamp and the Jetsetter@work Alox.
The Alox Rambler or Drifter would be perfect, but were Swiss Bianco exclusives, as was the Vagabond Alox.

Honestly, if you haven't already, get a KeySmart (or one of the numerous similar products) that includes a caplifter/key loop combo. It'll slim down your keychain, and you can just get the regular Alox Classic.

Yes I have an alox bantam too.
With a key ring.
Swiss Bianco Has them.
I’d just like something a bit smaller.

Thanks for the info.

I have a squirt too.
I usually keep it in my lunch bag for work.
But I may try it on my ring.

Tnx
