Sometimes you understand how much you love something when you miss it, that is being with my Swiss Champ when I sent it to repair/maintenance. :D
Mostly my champ has been in home, where it has served me well. But I would like to try carrying it again, especially for longer trips.

So I googled for some sheaths, and found out about Victorinox's red and black synthetic leather sheaths. They look pretty clean, and according to my scarce info I got, they should also attach to your belt horizontally that I really like. Also, they should fit my Swiss Champ as well..

So the question is, does anyone own these?

Here are some pics I found from the image search:

Ahh cool! I didn't somehow get that they are basically the same thing.
I wonder if the Swiss Champ will fit the larger one just fine?

Have both leather and nylon. They work great when I choose to carry a thick SAK. Not sure about horizontal carry with one.

Plenty of room in the Mil Pouch....

That's very cool, thanks! I might go with this one instead. I dug the green sheath the day I saw it. I just thought it was the thing for the spirits and such tools.

If I am going to have to carry a belt pouch to hold my swiss army knife I am just going to go ahead and carry a Leatherman styled Multitool. But the Greyish green model pouch does look good.

May I ask why? It would be much more comfy to carry.. It doesn't fit the belt good?

Each to her own I guess. :) Personally, I really never need big pliers. In that case, I like to roll with my classic SAK that has plenty of nice tools.
