Anyone have any success ordering from Vic Shop International (www.victorinox-shop.com)? I am a bit concerned - as of today their website does not remember my log in, and the money was taken from the account the day after the order was placed a week ago.

I have e-mailed them with no response as of yet...:(
 
That can be unnerving to have that happen, and, (my opinion only, I am not an expert) the last option would be for you to dispute the charge to your account or do some sort of stop order if not too late. It might be best to give it a few days first and continue trying to contact them and document your attempts at communication as much as possible. Make sure you have a hardcopy of the online order.

Good luck. It's possible that your order is on its way, too.
 
Thanks for the feedback - I have documentation and the order may well be on its way - and thanks to this forum I now have other sources to purchase from that appear to be solid.

I've ordered from the web for years with great luck - this would be the first time...
 
The domain seems to be registered out of Germany. If you look at your credit card statement you should be able to determine where exactly they are located. http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=victorinox-shop.com

Being in Western Europe, I would say that your wait time has not been unreasonable. I periodically buy things from Western Europe, and a week to 10 days transit time isn't uncommon (for airmail). Eastern Europe (Russia and the former satilites) and 10 days to a month are common for airmail but average transit time average closer to a month. Also remember there is processing time, and customs can add to the transit time. If another week to 10 days passes, you may want to contact them with a status inquiry.
