Hi all, This nice multitool is a limited edition of the standard Spartan lite, made by Victorinox on 2007 in 999 pieces to celebrate the emission of two commemorative stamps by Swiss Postal Service:
Specs of the knife:
1. Large Blade
2. Small Blade
3. Corkscrew
4. Can Opener with
5. Small Screwdriver (also for Phillips screws)
6. Bottle Opener with
7. Large Screwdriver
8. Wire Stripper
9. Reamer
10. Key Ring
11. Tweezers
12. Toothpick
13. Patented Mini-screwdriver
14. LED White Light
15. Phillips Screwdriver
Colors of Swiss Postal Service are Yellow, Black and Red
The handle of this particular Spartan lite version is yellow and black on one side, whit the symbol of the Swiss postal service and the year of emission (2007)
And total black on the other side
On the main blade, is stamped Limited edition 07 and the serial number of the knife (mine is the number 186)
The Victorinox Spartan lite is a compact multitool, 91 mm closed
Tools of this limited edition are the same of the standard version
Of course, one of the most interesting tool is the small LED light in it. The light is handy, but rather weak, so its actually useful just to find keys in a bag, illuminate key holes, and similar small tasks
Its really easy to open the batterys case and to replace the batteries (two 3V lithium CR1225 watch batteries)
In summary, a very nice, collectable SAK. Fit and finish are excellent (Victorinox tradition), nice looking too, and Im happy to own one of the 999.
