Victorinox Spirit and the emergency hand-made fishing bait

Hello,
past days I made a “survival” fishing bait using my Victorinox Spirit. You may use other multitools or even a simple knife, just having a reamer and pliers make the job easier.
What you need is just a beer can


You will use as a bait the … of the can, I don’t know the english word for it, sorry  maybe “puller”?



Now, you will use your reamer (or the point of your knife), to drill a small hole on the top



It’s time to use the pliers. Just bend carefully the top of the item, let’s say at 45° angle or so



Now, you need to bend the angles at the bottom, like this



The artificial bait is ready. You need now to fill the fishing rod on it, and you are ready to fishing


I tried it, and it’s work.

I have a 11.5 ft spinning rod like that for surf casting when we travel to the tropics. Just fits in the luggage at 31 or 32 in.
Good improvisation BTW.
