Victorinox Spirit X Lock deformation?

So I received a spirit x as an anniversary gift recently, however I've noticed that from what I would say is light use (cutting cardboard, shaving 2x4s, and light notch carving into wood) that the lock face of the blade has deformed noticably. To the point of there being audible levels of lockplay in the blade itself. I find this extremely concerning, and want to inquire if anyone else has had similar experiences. However some of these pictures have also revealed a large amount of dents in the other spring as well. Makes me wonder if knifecenter sent my girlfriend a preused spirit x...

I have the swiss tool model which is the bigger brother to yours, but they use the same exact steel of course. I've used the hell out of it for a few years, can't see any deformation on mine.

My spirit x locks like bank vault and I’ve used it in light outdoor tasks. I think you should contact the seller? Or do they have victorinox repair service in there somewhere?

Alright so I sent the spirit x out shortly after this post.

It came back today, but they did not resolve the lockup issue, there is still a lot of blade play in the main locking blade. Simply wanted to come back and report on how that went, I am pretty disappointed with Vic customer service over all. I was never able to check the online status since it said a status report was not made, so I had to call in to talk to a rep about it. From there, I was told that the only issue they found was that the tools were a little tight and that they'd oil them. I tried to correct the issue at that moment by explaining the blade play issue again and was told she'd pass it on to the tech.

From there, about a week later I got a return message. So now the tool is back in my possession without any real improvement on the lockup. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Edit: I took a bit of a leap hoping that possibly knifecenter would be willing to try to help out there with the expectation of a no. However, given the circumstance they said they would be perfectly willing to try to swap it out for another one.

While victorinox seems to have not done well by me ,I have to say that knifecenter continues to be an excellent dealer!
