Victorinox swiss army knife boxes

Hi All,

A bit of a random question but does anybody have any Victorinox hard paper boxes (that originally stored the knives) that they don't need and can donate to a fellow? I have several used swiss army knives that are in good condition that I would like to give away as gifts for the Holidays and it would be really great to put them in Victorinox swiss army knife boxes.

Are you looking for the appropriately labeled box or one that will fit? The boxes and the plastic inserts vary in size.

Which models? Or if you don't know the models, what length and how many layers? ...or better yet, post photos if you don't know the models.

I'll try to help, if I am able.
 
Maybe you can contact Victorinox and ask for boxes? It may be a long shot but some manufacturers will ship you unlabeled boxes for next to nothing.
 
Unfortunately, I don't have the appropriate boxes. My Recruit and Super Tinker were packaged in clam packs. Have an extra box for a wood SwissChamp and OHT and some extra boxes for Soldiers, SwissTools and SwissTool Spirits. The OHT box is in poor condition, the rest range from like new to good condition. A three could be packaged in one SwissTool box. I have a few more on the way but don't remember which ones.

I could buy a few similar sized Swiss army knives and send you the boxes but I don't think they'd arrive before the holiday.

Do you think a Soldier box will work for the Super Tinker since they are both 91mm? The other 2 knives are 84mm. I will try to find boxes for them and if I can't, I might just keep them until I can find boxes for them. That would look much nicer as gifts.

If you do have similar sized boxes and wouldn't mind sending them to me (I'll gladly compensate for shipping), I'd really appreciate it. And they don't need to arrive before the 25th.

The Soldier knife will fit but it'll bulge a little. I also found one extra 84mm box for a one layer - may fit the Recruit with a little bulge. And a larger box that's unlabeled.

Speaking of boxes, I just scored this box in a recent auction. Now I just need 1-2 dozen mint Barnett plier knives to go with it! ;)

Supratentorial, you wouldn't happen to have any spare Farmer boxes lying around would ya?
 
Sorry! I had a bunch but tossed them a long time ago. You've got to catch me after a buying binge and before recycling day! ;)
 
I might be able to help you out. But I have to check my big bag of boxes. I will try and get to it tomorrow. I will let you know.
