Here's my latest from Vic. SAK, the Spartan which originally came with the Pinstripe - Green (Retired Knife?) scales that I swapped with the Super Tinker.

Also I got the Victorinox Black Leather Knife Sheath with belt loop and shackle snap. I'll try that out as a combo EDC.

The Spartan was my first Victorinox, first SAK, and first knife I could actually call mine (bought with my own money when I was 13 or something like that). My Spartan (which I still have, and carry from time to time) is the "old" version (no toothpick nor tweezers); I've had other SAK's along the years, but this one has a special place for me.
Thanks for sharing!

Sure to be an heirloom then! Sure would like to see that "old" version you've got. :D Anyway, enjoy!

No, it's not a vintage SAK, and I'm not 80 years old :D still, I have to admit that, when the SAK's with T&T came out, I saw them as weird. Time taught me that those two tiny things can be useful (and that I have no need for a corkscrew, and so on), but my old Spartan still gets pocket time. Just out of affection, I guess.

Spartan with pin stripe scales is discontinued. I actually have the whole set though.

Of my small SAK "collection": Nomad, Huntsman, Alox Farmer and Spartan - the Spartan will be in my pocket more often than the other three combined. Is it sexy? Probably not. Useful/practical? You betcha!
