I have both these very handy and superb products. I would be very interested to see which one you would choose if you could only choose one, and why!!!!

I would choose the Vic Swisschamp because I am a secret member of the Secret Order of The Swiss Army Knives. I am just waiting for my logo.
No, seriously, I choose the SAK because of personal preference and compactness etc. The blades on the SAK are also better and easier to use.

The Leatherman Supertool is superb, but hefty to carry all the time. Incidentally, both form part of my large survival kit/gear.

I have SAK's and a Leatherman Wave that was customized by having a Spyderco SS clip attached .

I carry my SAK's just about all of the time. They weigh less and fit right in my pocket. I generally have a tool box nearby and just don't get to use the leatherman much.

If I had to pick just one of them............... :(
and would not have access to any other tools it would have to be the wave.
Have a great week,

I think the SAK fits the woods and possibly other very rural environments better, while the Leatherman and other "pliers based" tools fit urban environments better and the latter particularly so if you happen already to carry a real knife - any small utility blade folder or fixed.
