Recently picked up a early model Vic Swisstool and while its in overall great shape the previous owner must have had an unsually frequent need for filing. The file is rather quite dull. Are there any options for replacing the file? Will Victorinox service it? Any DIY options?

I've got one of the first models and while it's a great tool and has served me very well over the years, the file was never sharp.
Yup, right out of the box it was just about sharp enough to spread peanut butter.
Worthless.
