Well, i had to return my swisstool to customer service because my pliers were super wiggly and after trying a pair in the store i realized they shouldnt be that loose. So when i received my new ones they looked fine, brought them home. WRONG. Whenever id close the pliers something would hit me in the hand and i didnt remember my other ones doing that. So i looked and the file was bent! No worries though i laid it out on my leg and bent it back PERFECTLY. So now it's fine. Not knocking victorinox maybe somehow it got bent at the factory. But anways it's still my favorite multi.

Im suprised that you had a defective swisstool,and that you bent the file with out it breaking! Hate you've had problems with them,I've bought over 40 Vics,for myself and others and never had one issue.

The file on my Swisstool X was bent slightly when I received it, too. I straightened it easily. As you wrote, it is still my favorite multi, tied with the Victorinox Spirit.
