victorinox to produce 93 mm alox with scissors

apparently Mr Elsener has decided to begin releasing the 93mm alox series with scissors as of this year. This is quite a grail for a lot of people, people have been hoping for this for years, and most custom mods of these knives involve adding the scissors from a 91mm donor knife.
 
it was just announced on a fb alox site, I did not know whether it was against the rules to post.
 
cool, I looked around for more internet infos, but I really think this is just from personal communication with the Victorinox CEO.

It's really hard not to get swayed by this sort of news. I just hope they're true.
Scissors on the 93 mm alox SAK's are going to be a huge hit though. I wonder what kept them from producing them so far.

Really cool news! I wonder if folks at Victorinox monitor the modding community for trends/ideas.

Re-introducing scissors in the 84mm line would also be great. I would gladly be rid of the openers/drivers layer on the alox Cadet in favor of a scissors layer (still nice and slim).
 
If they could find some way to add a toothpick and tweezers in there along with the scissors???? That would probably be the most sought after sak of all time!

nope, the internet cannot help us in this case, it was an old school personal communication from the vic CEO to someone on the alox fan page.
 
This news pleases me, both the addition of scissors and the introduction of the color-of-the-year idea. I love my Vic Alox knives.
