Victorinox Warranty Denial?

I have heard good things about Victorinox warranties. I am wondering if anyone has ever had a denial for warranty coverage. If so, what was the reason.

I had one of their Swiss-Flame torch lighter knives, but it didn't work. Went to the factory store to replace it, but they said they couldn't as they stopped selling/replacing/repairing them as they were so faulty.

They gave me my pick of another item of equal value, though.

Their warranty is one of the best.
 
Trekker had a lock that would fail. I sent it in and it came back worse. I called and explained with video and pics what was happening. Victorinox sent me a brand new one. I have no problems with Victorinox cs and warranty!

First post. Is there more to your story? Are you simply trolling them?
 
No trolling and nothing really deep behind the post. I enjoy my SAK. I have heard great things about their warranty but noted that they had the normal abuse clause in there. I was mainly wondering how they can handle that
 
I was told they couldn't fix an alox electrician after I sent it in. It was an old cross style and I offered to pay for new blades.
They sent it back and offered 15% off of a new knife.
